Once upon a time, in a dark forest, the Devil had a young son named Vex. Vex had sparkly eyes and tiny horns on his head. He loved to play tricks, but not very well. One day, he wandered too far and found a colorful tent filled with lovely sounds of laughter.
Inside the tent, there was a sweet old woman sitting by a warm fire. She had soft, white hair and wore a long, flowing dress. Next to her was a baby, giggling and playing with a shiny cow toy. The old woman looked up and smiled at Vex, inviting him to come closer. Vex felt warm and happy inside.
The old woman gave Vex a cookie that smelled like honey. "Thank you!" he said with wide eyes. Vex could see the baby clapping with joy. They all played together. The baby laughed while Vex juggled the cow toy, and even the Devil's son was surprised at how much fun he was having.
Suddenly, the Devil appeared! He wasn’t angry. He saw Vex laughing and the kind old woman too. "What is this place?" he asked with curiosity. The old woman smiled and said, "This is a place of joy, Devil. Your son has found happiness here!" The Devil was amazed.
From that day on, Vex and the old woman became good friends. The Devil visited sometimes but promised not to scare anyone. Vex learned that kindness was better than tricks, and they lived happily, filled with joy and laughter.
