A Day at the Farm

One sunny day, Tom went to visit his grandfather's farm. The sky was blue, and the sun was shining bright. In the yard, he saw many hens clucking happily as they searched for food.

Tom carried a small red bag. Inside the bag, he had some pens to write in his notebook. He wanted to capture all the fun things he saw at the farm.

He found a nice, shady spot under a big tree. He sat on his grandfather's old bed there, enjoying the gentle breeze. The grass was a bit wet from the morning dew.

While sitting, Tom heard a jet flying high in the sky. The sound roared above him, and he looked up with wide eyes. It was so cool to see a jet on his special day!

Tom decided to explore more of the farm. By a small pond, he saw a fishing net lying on the ground. Nearby, some men were casting the net to try and catch fish.

As he walked around, Tom spotted something shiny in the grass. He bent down and found an egg! It was smooth and white, and he was excited to hold it.

Tom noticed one of the hens limping on the grass. She had a hurt leg and looked sad. Tom remembered to tell his grandfather because he loved helping animals.

His grandfather came quickly to the hen's side. He gently examined her leg and decided to help her heal. Tom felt happy knowing he could help the hen too.

After helping the hen, Tom and his grandfather went back to the pond. They watched the men catching fish and laughed at the funny splashes in the water.

When it was time to go home, Tom waved goodbye to the farm with a big smile. He couldn't wait to tell everyone about his day at the farm.
