Cookie Feathergarland was the cleverest prankster in her town. "Watch out!" she giggled to her friends, as she hid behind a bush, ready to spring her next trick. With a pie made of whipped cream and a sparkling wink, she yelled, "Surprise!" Just like that, her best friend Jake got a face full of fluffy cream. Everyone burst into laughter!
But one day, Cookie woke up with a new plan. She decided to prank her neighbor, Mr. Bumble, who always complained about Cookie's tricks. "Today, it’s time for a special surprise!" she whispered. With her partner-in-prank, Jake, they set up a funny scene: balloons filled with confetti and a loud horn that blared when touched! When Mr. Bumble came outside, the balloon popped and confetti rained down. "Cookie! Not again!" he laughed, surprising himself!
After that, Cookie and Jake decided to plan something even bigger for the annual town fair. They brainstormed and giggled, coming up with the idea of a giant inflatable chicken that would suddenly squawk and flap its wings. On the day of the fair, everyone gathered around, eyes wide with curiosity. As the chicken came to life, it wobbled around, clucking loudly, and everyone doubled over with laughter, including the mayor, who clapped his hands in delight.
But Cookie knew that the best pranks were those that could also bring a smile in return. She noticed that Mr. Bumble seemed to have a little more spring in his step these days. So, she decided to leave him a small basket of cookies on his porch, with a note that read, 'Thanks for being a good sport!' When Mr. Bumble found the basket, his grumpy frown melted into a warm smile.
From that day on, Cookie's pranks became more than just jokes—they were small acts of kindness that always ended with laughter and sometimes even a new friend. Her fame as the prankster extraordinaire grew, but so did the happiness she spread. And in her heart, Cookie knew that every giggle was a sign that she was doing exactly what she was meant to do: make the world a little brighter, one prank at a time.
