Daisy the Duck and the Big Blue Sea

Once there was a little duck named Daisy. Daisy stood by the shore and said, "I don’t want to swim, Mommy! What if the sea is too big and scary?" Her mother, a soft-feathered duck, replied, "But the sea is fun, and I will be right beside you!" Daisy wiggled her little feet and felt nervous, but Mommy encouraged her with a gentle smile. "Let’s try together! One tiny splash is all we need."

So they walked to the edge. "Just dip your toes, Daisy, just like this!" quacked Mommy, splashing happily. Daisy watched her mother’s happy face and felt brave. "Okay!" she cheeped, dipping one foot in. The water felt cool! Daisy giggled, and with a big flap, she jumped in. "I’m swimming!" she cheered. The big blue sea was not as scary as she thought! They splashed and played, and Daisy learned that swimming with her mother was pure joy.

As they floated on the gentle waves, Daisy saw colorful fish swimming by. 'Look, Mommy, they’re so pretty!' she quacked excitedly. Her mother nodded, 'Yes, Daisy, the sea is full of wonders!' They watched the fish dart and dive, and Daisy felt a warm glow inside her heart. The sea wasn’t just big; it was magical!

Then, a friendly crab waved its claw from a rock nearby. 'Hello, little duck!' it clicked. Daisy waddled closer, 'Hi, Mr. Crab!' she giggled. 'The sea is our home, just like the pond is yours,' said the crab. Daisy nodded, feeling more at home with each splash and wave.

As the sun began to set, painting the sky with pinks and oranges, Mommy said, 'It’s time to go back, Daisy.' Daisy gave a happy quack, 'I love the big blue sea, Mommy!' Hand in wing, they waddled back to the shore, leaving a trail of tiny webbed footprints in the sand. Daisy knew she would dream of the sea and its wonders, and she couldn’t wait for another splashy adventure with her mommy.
