Ducky the duck lived in a big pond. He had shiny green feathers and a happy quack. Every day, Ducky swam and played in the water.
One sunny morning, Ducky waddled over to his best friend, Froggy the frog. Froggy was sitting on a lily pad, catching flies with his long, sticky tongue. 'Let's play a game!' quacked Ducky excitedly. Froggy croaked in agreement, and they decided to play hide and seek.
Ducky hid behind a big rock, giggling as he waited for Froggy to find him. Froggy hopped around, looking in all the usual places. Finally, he spotted Ducky's shiny green feathers peeking out from behind the rock. 'Found you!' Froggy shouted with a big smile.
After their game, Ducky and Froggy swam over to the cattails where their friend, Fishy the fish, was blowing bubbles. 'Join us for a swim!' bubbled Fishy happily. Together, they swam in circles, splashing water and laughing all the way.
As the sun began to set, Ducky, Froggy, and Fishy floated on the calm pond. 'What a fun day,' Ducky quacked softly, feeling happy and sleepy. They watched the sky turn pink and orange, and promised to have more adventures tomorrow. Soon, they drifted off to sleep, dreaming of new games and sunny days.
