Fatma was excited. She had a special job today. She wanted to show her friends the letter I. It was a curious letter, loud and bright, just like the sun on a sunny day.
"Listen up, friends!" Fatma said with a smile. "The sound I makes is like the beginning of 'in'. Can you hear it? 'Iiiiiinn!" Her friends giggled and tried to say it too.
Fatma picked a picture of an igloo. "This is an igloo! It’s made of ice and looks so cool! The sound I is right here too!" She pointed and sang, "Igu-lllo!"
Her friends clapped. They loved it! Next, Fatma showed a picture of an ink pot. "And this is ink! We use it to write. The sound of I is still there! Can you all say 'Iiiink'?"
Everyone shouted, "Iiiink!" They were having fun. Fatma was so happy; her friends were learning a lot!
Next came a picture of an insect. Fatma said, "Look, here is an insect. It’s small and crawls. Can you hear the sound of I in ‘insect’?"
"Yesss! Iiii-insect!" they cheered. Fatma loved how her friends were trying hard. They were getting better with the sound of I, one step at a time.
Fatma then made a funny dance with each word. She wiggled and swayed, as her friends joined in. They sang, "Igu-lllo, Iiiink, Iii-insect!" It was a joyful sight!
After the fun, Fatma smiled brightly. She knew her friends would always remember the sound I. They learned together, and it felt right!
"Let’s keep playing with sounds!" Fatma said. Her friends cheered, and they all agreed. Together they would learn. Yes, indeed!
