Jericho was a happy little boy. One sunny morning, he said, "Mom, Dad, I love you more than the stars!" His parents smiled and hugged him tightly. Today was special, and Jericho could feel it. He wanted to show them just how much he loved them!
Jericho thought of a great idea! He would make a treasure hunt! He gathered some colorful paper and wrote clues with a crayon. "The first clue is where we keep the shoes!" he announced excitedly, his eyes sparkling with joy.
Running to the shoe rack, Jericho found the first clue. It read, "To find the next prize, look where we dry our clothes!" Laughing, he rushed to the backyard, his heart racing with happiness as he imagined his parents' smiles.
When he reached the clothesline, he spotted another note fluttering in the wind. It said, "The next clue is hidden where you find your favorite book!" Jericho grinned and dashed back inside, ready to find his beloved storybook.
As Jericho turned the pages, he placed the next clue carefully on the table. “It says, ‘To the kitchen now, you must go fast! Your surprise awaits; it’ll be a blast!’” His parents followed, curiosity growing in their hearts.
In the kitchen, Jericho had set up a little picnic. “Surprise!” he shouted. There were sandwiches, fruits, and cookies, all made with love. His parents laughed, their hearts full of joy. “This is wonderful, Jericho!” they said.
After eating, they all sat together on the blanket. Jericho leaned against his dad and said, “I wanted to show you how much I love you!” His mom kissed his forehead, her eyes twinkling. “You’ve shown us the most delightful love, sweet boy.”
Next, Jericho had one last surprise! He picked up his guitar, a bright smile on his face. “I will sing a song for you!” With that, he strummed a cheerful tune, his voice ringing like the morning bells.
As he finished the song, his parents clapped and cheered. “Bravo, Jericho! You are so talented!” His heart swelled with happiness as he saw how proud they were. The love in the air was magical.
That evening, as the sun set, Jericho snuggled in bed. He whispered, “Goodnight, Mom and Dad. I love you to the moon!” And with that, he closed his eyes, dreaming of more adventures with his loving family.
