One sunny day at Deira Private School, Jubeir stood at the front of the class with his best friend Shakira. "Hey everyone!" he called out, waving his hands. "Today we are going to learn something really special! It's about the Prostration of Forgetfulness and the Prostration of Recitation!" Shakira added with a big smile, "They help us focus and remember when we pray!" The classmates looked curious, leaning forward in their seats, eager to learn more.
As Jubeir explained, he said, "The Prostration of Forgetfulness is when you forget something important in your prayer. You can do a quick prostration to fix it!" Shakira chimed in, "And the Prostration of Recitation happens when you recite the Quran! It’s like a special thank you to Allah!" They invited their classmates to practice, and everyone giggled as they tried the different prostrations, turning the lesson into a fun game full of laughter and joy.
After everyone had practiced the prostrations, Jubeir and Shakira asked their classmates to share how they felt. Amina, one of their friends, raised her hand enthusiastically. 'I think the prostrations make me feel closer to Allah and more focused!' she said. Others nodded in agreement, and Saeed added, 'And it’s kind of like a reset button when we forget something, which is really handy!' Hearing their classmates' thoughts made Jubeir and Shakira smile even more.
Mr. Ahmed, their teacher, who had been watching from the back, clapped his hands. 'You both did an excellent job teaching us today!' he praised. The class cheered and Shakira blushed, while Jubeir gave a proud thumbs-up. 'Remember, it's not just about doing the steps but understanding why we do them,' Mr. Ahmed reminded the class gently. Everyone nodded, feeling a little wiser and more connected after the special lesson.
As the bell rang, signaling the end of the lesson, Jubeir and Shakira high-fived each other. 'We did it!' Shakira exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Jubeir nodded, 'Yeah, and we made it fun too!' As they packed up their books, they overheard their classmates chatting about how they couldn’t wait to share what they learned with their families. That’s when Jubeir realized that teaching was not just about sharing knowledge, but also about inspiring others to carry it forward.
