Once upon a time, there was a smart girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She wore a bright red cloak and skipped happily through the green forest. Today, she was going to visit her grandmother who lived in a cozy cottage.

As she walked, Little Red Riding Hood met a sneaky wolf. The wolf had sharp teeth and a sly grin. "Where are you going, little girl?" he asked sweetly, hiding his true intentions.

"I’m going to visit my grandmother," she replied. Little Red Riding Hood remembered her mother’s warning about the wolf and decided to be clever.

The wolf ran ahead to grandmother’s house. He knocked on the door and said, "It’s me, your granddaughter!" He tried to trick grandma by disguising his voice.

But grandma was smart too! "Come in, dear!" she said, and quickly hid in the closet. The wolf entered, looking for her, but he didn’t find her there.

Meanwhile, Little Red Riding Hood came to the cottage. She knocked on the door and was puzzled by the silence. Why didn’t grandma answer? With a twinkle in her eye, she decided to check for herself.

Open the door and peek inside, Little Red Riding Hood spotted the wolf in her grandmother’s bed. She giggled, "What big ears you have, Mr. Wolf!" The wolf was startled, his plan was falling apart.

"All the better to hear you with!" he growled. Little Red Riding Hood knew she had to act fast. She remembered the basket she was carrying filled with goodies for her grandmother.

"Let’s play a game!" she exclaimed. "If you can catch me, I’ll let you eat the treats!" The wolf, eager for the food, jumped out of bed to chase her. Little Red Riding Hood ran around the room, laughing and dodging.

The clever little girl dashed outside and called for help. Soon, the woodsmen came running, and they chased the wolf far, far away. Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother shared the treats, laughing about the clever adventure they had together.
