Mike Sumani Jnr loved going to church. "Can we go to church now, Mom?" he asked eagerly. He wanted to see his friends and learn more about stories in the Bible. Church was filled with joy, singing, and laughter. Mike could hardly wait to get there!

When they arrived, the large building stood tall with bright windows shining in the sun. Mike hurried inside, waving to his friends. They greeted him with big smiles. "Hey, Mike! Did you practice the new church song?" his friend Sam asked. Mike nodded, excitement bubbling in his chest.

As the church gathered, everyone sat in neat rows. Pastor Joe stood at the front, his warm smile bringing joy to the room. "Today, we will learn about kindness!" he announced. The congregation cheered, and Mike couldn't wait to hear the story. He loved stories that taught valuable lessons.

During singing time, the sounds of happy voices filled the air. Mike stood beside his friends, all singing in harmony. "We're a big family!" he shouted. Everyone laughed, joining their voices together in praise. The music filled Mike’s heart with happiness.

In the children's class, Mike learned about David and Goliath. His teacher, Miss Sarah, told the story with excitement. "David was small, but he had a big heart!" she said. Mike listened carefully, imagining himself being brave like David. He wanted to always stand up for what was right.

After the lesson, it was time for crafts! Mike's eyes lit up when he saw the supplies. "Let’s make slingshots like David's!" he suggested. His friends cheered, and together they created amazing crafts, laughing and sharing ideas with each other.

At the end of the day, Mike felt proud. He had not only learned about kindness and bravery but had made beautiful memories with his friends. Church was more than just a place to visit; it was where he felt at home.

As they left, Mom asked, "What was the best part today?" Mike grinned, “Singing with my friends and making crafts! I love our church!” His mom smiled back, feeling joyful inside. She loved seeing him so happy.

On the way home, Mike talked about all the stories he had learned. "Next week, can we invite more friends to come?" he asked eagerly. His mom nodded, excited about the idea, “Of course! The more, the merrier!"

That night, while getting ready for bed, Mike whispered a prayer, "Thank you for our church and my friends. I can't wait for next Sunday!" He snuggled into his blanket, dreaming of all the fun he'd have next week.
