Nimbus was a fluffy cloud, light and bright. She floated over Verdant Valley, a village so right. The hills were green, and the sky was blue, The villagers lived in harmony, nature their due.
Nimbus was special, not like the rest. Instead of rain, she had diamonds, her best. Sparkling and shiny, they danced in the light, A treasure from Nimbus, so lovely and bright.
One day she felt heavy, her diamonds were near. She rained them down, all sparkly and clear. They bounced off the rooftops, what a sweet sound! The villagers looked up at the magic they found.
Elara, a young girl with dreams in her eyes, Caught a big diamond, oh, what a surprise! She ran to her grandmother, holding it high, "Look at this treasure, oh me, oh my!"
Her grandmother smiled, with wisdom so old. "It’s pretty, dear child, a sight to behold. But look all around at the garden we have, This diamond can’t feed us, or help us to thrive.
The village was busy, with gardens in bloom, Farmers tended to crops, all with love, not gloom. A guy with brown soil brushed off a spark, For to him, the earth’s gifts were the true work of art.
Then came a merchant, with stories to tell. He had empty sacks, money to sell. He offered them gold for the diamonds they found, But the villagers smiled, love was their ground.
"We have all we need, oh thank you, good man, The earth feeds our bodies, that’s part of our plan. These diamonds are pretty, like pebbles, you see, But we cherish the land, it gives joy to you and me!"
The merchant was puzzled, he left feeling sad. To him, the diamonds were all that he had. But Nimbus kept raining, her heart filled with cheer, The villagers' joy is what she held dear.
The kids made mud pies, with glimmers of light, The diamonds were fun, what a beautiful sight! Life in the valley was happy and free, With nature’s true gifts, like the leaves on a tree.
