Mia, a cheerful girl with bright blue eyes, hopped into the kitchen. "Today, I will make a yummy strawberry cake!" she declared. Her friends, Leo and Ruby, joined her, full of excitement. "Can we help?" Ruby asked, with a big smile. Mia nodded, "Of course! Let’s start!" They gathered the ingredients: fresh strawberries, flour, sugar, and eggs. They were ready to cook!
First, they mashed the strawberries in a bowl. "Squish, squish!" went the berries, bright red and sweet. Next, they mixed the flour and sugar in another bowl. Leo said, "Now we need to crack the eggs!" With a little help, they cracked them in. They mixed everything together, added the mashed strawberries, and poured it into a round pan. "Yay! Let's bake it!" cheered Ruby. After the cake cooled, they decorated it with whipped cream and more strawberries. "It looks amazing!" Mia exclaimed. They all took a bite and said, "Mmm! Delicious!" They loved their strawberry cake!
As they enjoyed their cake, Mia had a fun idea. "Let's have a picnic in the garden with our cake!" she suggested. Leo and Ruby clapped their hands, "Yes, let's do it!" They carefully placed the cake on a big, green plate and carried it outside. The sun was shining, and the birds were singing a happy song just for them.
In the garden, they spread out a soft blanket on the grass. Ruby picked some pretty flowers and decorated around the cake. "It looks even better now!" she giggled. They sat together, giggling and telling funny stories as they ate. Each bite was full of sweet strawberry goodness and happy memories.
After the last crumb was gone, Mia, Leo, and Ruby lay back on the blanket. "This was the best day ever," said Leo, smiling up at the fluffy clouds. Ruby added, "I can't wait to bake again!" Mia nodded, feeling warm and happy inside. "Me too," she agreed. And with the promise of more adventures, they ended their day filled with joy and friendship.
