Tommy was a cheerful boy who loved to play. One day, he made a paper airplane. He folded it with great care, and it was bright blue! He threw it into the sky, and off it flew, soaring high above the trees.
The airplane glided through the air, diving and twisting. It flew past Mrs. Jenkins, who was watering her flowers. 'What a lovely plane!' she shouted with a smile. The flowers danced in the wind around her.
Next, the airplane flew over the park. There, Tommy saw his friends playing. Max and Lily looked up. 'Wow, look at that plane!' they cheered. They waved, and Tommy waved back, feeling proud of his creation!
As the airplane continued its journey, it reached the big library. Inside, a wise old owl named Oliver was reading. The plane swooped in, and Oliver said, 'Brilliant design! Welcome, little traveler! Care for a book?'
With a flap of its wings, the airplane zoomed to the library's roof. Tommy could see the whole town! The rooftops looked like a patchwork quilt in the sunlight. He felt like a bird high in the sky.
Then, the airplane dipped down toward the bakery. The delicious smell of bread and cookies filled the air. Mrs. Baker waved and laughed, 'Is that an airplane or a flying treat? Fly on by, little friend!'
The paper airplane soared toward the school next. Children were outside playing games. They shouted, 'Hooray for Tommy and his amazing plane!' Tommy felt the joy of everyone cheering.
As the sun began to set, the airplane flew back home. Tommy ran to catch it, his heart pounding with excitement. It landed softly on his porch, right at his feet.
That night, Tommy put the airplane on his shelf. He smiled, knowing that every time he looked at it, it reminded him of his adventure. He couldn't wait to create another one!
With dreams of new paper planes swirling in his mind, Tommy snuggled into bed, eager for more adventures tomorrow.
