Once upon a time, there was a farmer named Tom. He had a big garden where he grew lots of vegetables. One sunny day, he found a turnip growing. It was enormous! Tom was excited but also worried. He called out, 'Oh, what a big turnip! I need help!'

Tom went to find his wife, Mary. 'Come and see this enormous turnip!' he called. Mary came running. She had a sunny dress and a big smile. Together, they tried to pull the turnip from the ground, but it wouldn't budge!

Next, Tom called his little boy, Tim. Tim, with his bright blue shorts, joined them. 'Let's all pull together!' he said with a giggle. They all tugged hard, but the turnip still stayed in the soil!

Tom then said, 'We need more help!' So, they called Grandma Lily. Grandma wore a lovely apron and had silver hair. She brought her big strength! Together, the four of them pulled, but the turnip stayed put!

Tom came up with a great idea. 'Let’s call Grandpa Joe!' Grandpa Joe was strong and cheerful. He came over with his straw hat and bright suspenders. They all pulled together, but the turnip was still stuck!

Now, they needed even more help! Tom called his friends, the neighbor kids. They arrived laughing and ready to play. They all held hands and pulled together. One big tug and... nothing happened!

Feeling tired, they sat down. Tom said, 'We can do this, friends! Let's try one more time!' They all stood up again, holding hands in a line. They counted to three and pulled with all their might!

One, two, three! They pulled and pulled. Suddenly, with a big POP, the enormous turnip came out of the ground! Everyone cheered and jumped with joy!

They looked at the enormous turnip with wide eyes. It was bigger than Grandma Lily's basket! They knew it was a team effort, and that made it even more special.

Together, they decided to make turnip soup. They all went to the kitchen and cooked together, celebrating their teamwork with laughter and yummy soup for everyone.
