Once there was a clever fox. He was hungry and searched for food all day. One sunny day, he saw a bunch of grapes hanging from a vine. They were ripe and juicy, shining in the sunlight. The fox jumped and tried to grab them, but they were high up.
He jumped again and again. The grapes seemed just out of reach. "I can get those grapes!" he thought. But after many jumps, he felt tired and sad. The grapes still hung there, teasing him in the bright blue sky.
The fox sat down under the vine. He looked up at the grapes. They looked so delicious! "Why can’t I reach them?" he sighed. He wanted the sweet taste of the grapes very much, but they were too high for him to grab them.
Suddenly, he got an idea! "Maybe I don’t need those grapes!" he said to himself. Then he smiled and decided to think differently. "Those grapes are probably sour anyway," he said with a wink.
The fox stood up and shook his fur. He stretched his legs and decided to look for other food. "There are plenty of berries and nuts around!" he exclaimed happily. He ran off to find something new to eat.
As he explored, he found a lovely berry bush. The berries were bright and red, ripe and sweet. The fox munched on them and felt very happy. "These are much better than the sour grapes!" he cheered.
He learned a valuable lesson that day. Sometimes it’s okay to let go of what we can’t have. "I won't be sad about those grapes!" he laughed, feeling free and light.
The sun began to set, painting the sky in orange and purple. The fox ran home, thinking of all the delicious berries he had found. He realized it was better to be happy with what he can find.
From that day on, the clever fox never worried about the grapes again. He remembered that there are always other tasty treats to discover.
The wise fox shared his lesson with friends. "If you can't reach the grapes, look for something else!" he would say, smiling wide. Everyone loved his story and learned to be happy with what they have.
