Lily was a happy girl with a bright smile. "Let's play hide and seek!" she said. Her friends cheered and shouted, "Yes!" Excited, they all ran to the big oak tree. The tree was so wide that it looked like a giant! Lily counted to ten while her friends scattered all around. The sun shone down, making everything glitter.
After the count, Lily opened her eyes and looked under the leaves. "Where are you?" she called. She found Max behind a bush. "You can't catch me!" he giggled as he ran away. Next, she spotted Emma peeking from behind the tree. "Got you!" Lily laughed. The game went on, full of joy and laughter. It was a fun day with her friends.
Lily kept searching with a big grin on her face. She heard a little giggle from the tall grass. "I see you, Oliver!" she called out, and Oliver popped up, laughing. He pretended to be a bunny, hopping away quickly. Lily chased after him, and they both fell down laughing on the soft grass.
Just then, a gentle breeze rustled the leaves above, and the friends all stopped to listen. "Let's have a picnic!" Emma suggested, pointing to the picnic basket they had brought. Everyone agreed excitedly, and they spread out a blanket under the shade of the tree, sharing sandwiches and fruit, and talking about their hiding spots.
As the sun started to set, painting the sky with oranges and pinks, Lily looked around at her friends and said, "I had so much fun today." Her friends nodded, smiling wide. They promised to play again soon, waving goodbye to the big oak tree as they headed home, their hearts full of joy and friendship.
