Once upon a time, there was a lion named Leo. He lived in a cozy den where the grass grew. One sunny day, Leo felt very sleepy, and he crept into bed, his blanket so fluffy and deep.
Leo snuggled tight, with a yawn so grand. He dreamed of adventures in a faraway land. In his dream, he roared loud, and the forest did sway. "Oh, what fun is this? Let's play all day!"

He dreamed of chasing butterflies bright, under the warm sun with all his might. He leaped and he bounded, so happy and free, dreaming of a world that was wild and carefree.

But then came a sound, a soft little squeak. It was a tiny mouse, feeling timid and weak. Leo opened one eye, and to his surprise, he smiled at the mouse, with kindness in his eyes.

"Come join me, dear friend, let's have some fun!" Leo chuckled softly, "You’re welcome, little one!" So the mouse hopped up, and they cuddled up tight. Together they giggled in the soft morning light.

Then they played doctor, with a stethoscope grand. The mouse listened closely, as Leo would stand. They examined the flowers, the trees, and the bees, learning and laughing with the greatest of ease.

As the sun climbed higher, Leo felt wide awake. He stretched with a roar, oh, what a great shake! "Let’s go on an adventure, just you wait and see! I’ll be the lion, and you can be me!"

So off they did trot, through the fields and the trees, exploring the world, feeling relaxed with a breeze. They leaped through the meadows and rolled on the ground, where the flowers danced and the joy was profound.

Finally, when the day came to an end, Leo and the mouse were still the best friends. They laughed and they played until the night was dead, then both cuddled close, back home, in their bed.

And when morning arrived, with the sun shining bright, Leo woke up with the soft morning light. He smiled at the mouse, who was still by his side. They knew tomorrow would bring more fun to abide.
