Once upon a time, in a tall green tree, there lived a little bird named Bella. "Don’t fly far, Bella! Stay close!" her mom warned as she flew away to find food. Bella chirped, "But mom, I want to play!" Just then, a fluffy rabbit named Benny hopped by. "Hi there! Want to play with me?" he said, wiggling his nose. Bella felt scared and replied, "I can’t! My mom doesn’t want me to talk to strangers."
As Bella watched Benny hop around, she decided to play. "Okay! I’ll play for a little bit!" she said, feeling happy. But suddenly, a big, hungry wolf appeared, growling loudly! Benny shouted, "Run!" and he dashed away. Bella couldn’t fly fast. She cried, "Help! Help!" Just then, her mom swooped down, scaring the wolf away with her strong wings. Bella hugged her mom tight and learned, "I should listen to my mom! She knows best!"
After the wolf ran away, Bella and her mom flew back to their nest. Bella said, 'I'm sorry, Mom. I should have stayed close.' Her mom smiled and said, 'It's okay, Bella. What's important is that you learned to be safe.' Bella promised, 'I will always listen to you from now on!' and her mom gave her a gentle hug.
The next morning, Bella woke up to the sound of chirping birds. She saw Benny hopping around below and called out, 'Hi Benny! Want to play near the tree?' Benny smiled and wiggled his nose, 'Okay, Bella! I'll stay close to you!' Together, they had fun playing games, and Bella felt happy and safe.
As the sun began to set, Bella looked up at the sky and said, 'I had so much fun today, Mom!' Her mom nodded, 'I’m glad, Bella. Always remember to be careful.' Bella chirped, 'I will, Mom!' And from that day on, Bella and Benny played safely and happily in the forest, always listening to their moms.
