Once upon a time, there was a little monkey who loved his mother very much. She was his best friend, and he always wanted her to love him even more. One sunny day, he thought of a big wish. He wanted to be something very special, so she would love him more than anything else.
The little monkey climbed to his mother and said, 'I wish I was a whale, so big, that you will love me even more!' His mother smiled gently and replied, 'But I don't want you to be a whale. If you are a whale, you'd live in the sea, and I wouldn't see you anymore. I would miss you so much.'

The little monkey thought hard and said, 'Then, I want to be a snake! All the animals will fear me!' His mother shook her head with a laugh. 'But if you are a snake, how will I hug you when you have no arms? I would miss your warm hugs!','He thought some more and exclaimed, 'I want to be a giraffe, with a long neck, so I can see everything from above the trees!' His mother replied, 'But if you are such a tall giraffe, how will you hear me when I tell you I love you from beneath?'

Feeling confused, the monkey asked, 'Which animal should I become then, for you to love me more?' His mother hugged him tightly and said, 'I love you just the way you are. You are perfect for me!' The little monkey smiled wide, knowing he was truly loved.
