In old Oman, homes were made of coral and clay. They had tall walls and big doors. "Look at our beautiful house!" said a little boy. He played in a courtyard filled with palm trees and flowers. In the present, houses are different. They are made of bricks and have windows everywhere. The boy smiled, thinking about how cozy his home was now.
Schools in old Oman were under the sun, where children learned from wise teachers. "We read stories and practice writing on sand!" a girl said. Today, schools have bright lights and smart boards. The classrooms are lively with laughter and learning. Electricity shines bright, making everything easier for kids to learn and play.
In old Oman, the markets were bustling with people selling spices and silk. A little girl loved to visit, listening to the calls of the merchants and smelling the sweet scents in the air. Now, the markets are inside big malls, filled with colorful toys and clothes. She holds her mother's hand, gazing at the shiny windows, filled with wonder at all the things she can see and touch.
In the evenings, families gathered under the stars. They shared stories about brave sailors and magical creatures of the sea. "Tell me a story," the boy begged, as he sat by the warm fire. Today, families still gather, but now they can watch movies together on large screens, laughing and cheering at the adventures they see. The stories are different, but the love around them is just the same.
The little boy and girl from long ago are now grown up, and they smile at the new Oman. "So much has changed," the boy said. "But some things never change," the girl added, pointing to the playground filled with children. They heard the joyful giggles and knew that, just like in the past, happiness and togetherness were the heart of their home.
