Toby was a little snowman, built on a chilly winter's day. His round body sparkled in the soft glow of the sun. Toby had a bright orange carrot nose and a big, happy smile. All day long, he wanted to play with friends. But, oh no! Toby didn’t have any friends yet.
One frosty morning, Toby decided to go on an adventure. He wanted to find new friends to play in the snow. As he waddled through the snowy field, he saw the tall trees sparkling with frost. The branches looked like they were dressed in jewels. Toby felt excited!
Suddenly, he heard giggles and laughter coming from behind some bushes. Curiously, Toby peeked over. There he saw a group of children making snow angels and throwing snowballs. His little heart jumped with joy! Toby called out, “Hi! Can I play too?”
The children turned, their faces lighting up like the stars. They dashed towards Toby, their cheeks rosy and hands outstretched. “Of course, you can!” said a girl with shiny, red mittens. Together, they made a super snow fort. They were having so much fun!
As the day went on, Toby made snowballs and rolled in the fluffy snow. With every giggle and cheer, Toby felt warmer inside, even if he was made of snow. “Maybe I can teach you to make the biggest snowman ever!” he said joyfully. The children nodded eagerly.
After a while, they began to build the biggest snowman in the whole park. They shaped his big belly, and added shiny buttons and a tall hat. Toby watched, his eyes twinkling with happiness. “This is the best day ever!” he exclaimed, doing a little dance.
Just then, Toby noticed something magical up in the sky. Snowflakes began to fall gently, swirling and twirling. Each flake was unique and sparkly. The children laughed and danced as the snowflakes landed on their tongues. “Look! It’s snowing!” shouted a boy wearing a blue scarf.
With the snowflakes around them, Toby had an idea. “What if we catch a snowflake to save for later?” The children agreed and together, they stretched out their arms to catch the soft flakes. Each catch brought giggles and joy, like a winter hug.
As the sun began to set, Toby and his new friends sat down on a big snowbank, admiring their work. The big snowman was a sight to behold! “Thank you, Toby!” the children cheered. Toby smiled, feeling warm and loved in the chilly air.
From that day on, Toby wasn’t just a snowman; he was a part of the children’s hearts. He knew that the magic of winter was not just in the snow, but in friendships that sparkled like snowflakes too.
