Ahmed was walking to school, humming a happy tune. "Oh, what a bright day!" he said. Suddenly, he spotted something shiny on the ground! It was a wallet! "Wow! Look at this!" he exclaimed, excitingly. Without thinking twice, Ahmed picked it up and hurried home to show his mom.
At home, Ahmed shared his discovery. "I found a wallet, Mom! It had money inside!" He smiled. His mother said, "Oh, my dear! That's wonderful, but we must find its owner. It doesn't belong to you." When his dad returned, he agreed, saying, "Honesty is the best choice, Ahmed. Let’s find out who it belongs to!" Together, they searched and reached Mr. Kareem’s shop. He was so happy to get his wallet back! "Thank you, Ahmed!" he said with joy. Ahmed shook his head at the reward, saying, "Just doing the right thing!"
After returning the wallet, Ahmed and his parents decided to celebrate with a treat from Mr. Kareem's shop. "Thank you for being so honest, Ahmed," his mom said as she hugged him tightly. Ahmed felt proud and happy. He knew he had done something good.
The next day at school, Ahmed shared his story with his friends. "Wow, Ahmed! You are a hero!" said his friend Samira. "Maybe," Ahmed chuckled, "but I was just doing what my heart told me was right." His teacher, Miss Lina, overheard and gave Ahmed a big smile. "Ahmed, you showed us all the meaning of honesty," she said.
As Ahmed walked home that afternoon, he felt the sun shining a little brighter. He thought about how doing the right thing made him feel so good inside. "I'm going to be honest every day," he promised himself. With a happy heart, Ahmed skipped along, ready for new adventures and more honest days.
