James was a little penguin. He lived in a big, icy land. Most penguins could not fly, but James had a dream. He wanted to soar high in the sky. Every day, he looked at the birds and wished to fly like them!
James started to flap his wings. They were small and strong. He jumped off a big rock. Whoosh! He glided a little bit. The other penguins watched and clapped their flippers. They were amazed!
James practiced every day. He fell and bumped, but he got back up. He learned to jump, flap, and glide high. He felt brave and proud. Little by little, he was becoming a real flying penguin!
One sunny day, James climbed to a snowy hill. He took a deep breath and leaped off! He flapped his wings with all his might. Up and away, he flew! The wind whistled and danced with him in the clouds!
All the penguins cheered below. James had done it! He was a flying penguin! He twirled and swooped in the bright blue sky. From that day on, he showed everyone that dreams can come true.
