Niko the Ninja of the Woods

Niko the boy wanted to be a ninja of the woods. "I will jump like a fox!" he said. One sunny day, he practiced at the big tree. He leaped and rolled, feeling so free. But suddenly, a man named Mr. Grump showed up, frowning down at Niko. "You can't be a ninja! You need to behave!" he shouted trying to scare him away.

Niko took a deep breath. He looked up at the big tree. "But I want to be brave and swift!" he shouted back. Mr. Grump scratched his head, and said, "Fine! Show me your best ninja move!" Niko smiled. He spun around, did a somersault, and landed right on his feet. Mr. Grump's eyes got big. "Wow! Maybe you can be the ninja of the woods after all!" he laughed.
