One sunny day, Maria looked at her parents with big, curious eyes. "Mom, Dad, why do you work so hard?" she asked. Her father smiled softly, wiping sweat from his forehead. "We want you to have bright dreams, Maria," he said. "Everything we do is for you!" Maria stared at her worn-out parents, realizing their love was pure gold. That night, she dreamed of castles and stars, wishing to make their sacrifices count.
The next morning, Maria decided it was time to help. She picked flowers from the garden and made a bright bouquet. “This is for you, Mom and Dad!” she exclaimed, presenting the colorful gift. Her parents' eyes sparkled as they hugged her tightly. “You light up our lives, dear,” her mother said with a happy tear. Maria felt warm inside, knowing she would make them proud, just like they had always made her feel loved.
In the days that followed, Maria thought about all the ways she could bring smiles to her parents' faces. She decided to draw a picture of their golden dreams, with a castle in the clouds and a garden full of stars. "It's our dream world," Maria explained, handing them her masterpiece. Her parents marveled at the colors and shapes, seeing their dreams reflected through Maria's eyes. "You've captured our hearts," her father said, placing the picture in their living room with pride.
One evening, as the stars twinkled above, Maria had an idea. "Let's all have a picnic under the night sky," she suggested. Her parents agreed, and soon they were sitting on a blanket, sharing stories and laughter. Maria listened intently as her parents spoke of their childhood dreams, the ones they hoped Maria would reach for. "Your dreams will shine brighter than the stars," her mother whispered, tucking a stray hair behind Maria's ear.
With her heart full of love and gratitude, Maria knew what she wanted to do next. "I'll work hard in school and follow my dreams, just like you do," she promised. Her parents nodded, their eyes gleaming with hope and pride. As they lay back and gazed at the sky, the stars seemed to wink at them, as if to say, 'Dreams of gold never fade, they only grow brighter.' Maria drifted to sleep in the arms of her family, knowing she was part of a beautiful dream come true.
