It was a bright summer day, and four friends, Tyler, Matthew, Isaiah, and AJ, played in the sunny park. They laughed and joked, saying, "Look at how high I can swing!" and, "I can run faster than a cheetah!" Suddenly, Tyler saw a dark pit behind a tree. "Let's explore that!" he shouted. Before they could say no, Tyler jumped in, but the pit was very deep. His friends tried to pull him out, but it was too late! The pit closed, leaving only silence.

Months passed, and the friends were sad without Tyler, wondering if he would ever come back. One spooky night, a figure appeared in the moonlight. It was Tyler! But he looked different, dark and shadowy. "You left me!" he cried in a deep voice, now calling himself The Shadow. Anything he touched turned dark. "Help me, please!" Matthew said, shaking with fear. "We must go back in time to save Tyler before he became The Shadow!" AJ whispered bravely, determined to fix their friendship.
