Timmy was a cheerful boy. "I will study tomorrow!" he said, smiling. He played all day and left his books piled high. His friends laughed, "Timmy, you need to read!" But Timmy just waved them away. He thought, 'Tomorrow will be fine!',' The sun shined bright, and Timmy could hear the birds sing.
The days went by so fast! Suddenly, it was exam day. Timmy woke up and was shocked! "Oh no! I didn't study!" he shouted. He ran to school, his heart racing. In class, his teacher said, "Timmy, you have a big test today!" Timmy felt his face go red. He was scared, but he learned a lesson. From then on, he promised to start early and not wait until tomorrow.
Timmy's friends noticed he looked worried. "Timmy, are you okay?" asked Lucy. Timmy nodded slowly, "I will do my best today!" His friends smiled and said, "We believe in you, Timmy!" This made Timmy feel a little bit better.
When the test began, Timmy tried to remember what he could. He wrote what he knew and guessed the rest. Even though it was hard, Timmy kept trying. He wanted to make his friends proud and show he could be responsible.
After the test, Timmy's teacher said, "Timmy, you did your best today, and that is what matters!" Timmy smiled and said, "I will study early next time!" His friends cheered, and Timmy felt happy. From then on, he played and studied, finding time for both!
